| A new line of "I-Safe" thermocouple thermometers is now available from
Oakton. These digital hand held units feature UL and cUL "Intrinsically
Safe" ratings, and are CE certified for electromagnetic compatibility.
Oakton's I-Safe thermocouple thermometers make fast, accurate temperature measurement
reliable and affordable. To meet the needs of virtually any portable temperature
monitoring application, Oakton is offering five different I-Safe instruments: Three
standard models, in a choice of Type J, K, or T versions; the Dual Input J-T-E-K, a dual
input multi-function meter with 2-point calibration; and the DuaLogR, a dual input
temperature logger with infrared data transmission output, capable of logging up to 1,000
readings in real time. All include a calibration lock-in feature to prevent tampering and
maintain high accuracy.
These ergonomically-designed units feature impact-resistant ABS/polycarbonate cases
with built-in stands, and sealed silicone rubber keypad, for IP-54 rated splash and dust
resistance. Oakton manufactures these hand held thermocouple thermometers at its Illinois
facility, for the highest reliability and maximum ruggedness. Ml units carry a three-year
